Who are we? We're a bunch of tree-hugging candle enthusiasts (and self-proclaimed coconut connoisseurs) based in the heart of Washington DC. Our mission? To turn unwanted coconut shells into something truly amazing. How, you ask? By crafting exquisite candles that not only smell divine but also promote sustainable living. (We like to think of it as saving the world one coconut at a time!)

Founded in 2023, upshelled has quickly grown from a small idea to a thriving online store. We're proud to say that our candles are handcrafted from reclaimed coconut shells, giving them a unique and eco-friendly touch. Plus, they add a touch of sophistication to any room, making them the perfect addition to your home decor.

But we're not just about making beautiful candles. We're also passionate about using them to contribute to something greater. We donate 10% of our profits to Conservation International, a charity that works to protect our beautiful wildlife. Because let's face it, without those lush green forests, we wouldn't have coconuts to upshell in the first place!
